Wetsuits 2009

A full surf wetsuit is something every surfer needs and 2009 is a great year to buy a surf wetsuit. I have heard a lot of really good things about a new brand called Matuse wetsuits that are super light and stretchy. Patagonia wetsuits look extremely warm but they also look stiff and I have read a few negative Patagonia wetsuit reviews. A couple great wetsuits that I consider pricepoint and cost around $200 are the Billabong RevolutionX and the O’Neill Gooru. The Billabong RevolutionX is very cool, it has a unique entry system and is 100% super stretch so you know its super comfortable. The Gooru is a great performance no thrills wetsuit and an interesting fact about the Gooru is that O’Neill claims it’s their team rider’s favorite wetsuit. Hurley who teamed up with Nike this year has a really great looking high performance surf wetsuit called the Hurley Freedom that costs a bit less than other top of the line wetsuits like the Psycho II and Body Glove Vapor. Besides using really nice materials this year it seems like every wetsuit company is featuring a front entry on their premium wetsuits. Waveskates
